I have an approval stage, the current authorizer is a named user we will call Scott R.
I would like to change the authorizer in the approval stage to be that of the user "manager". However, when i look up the name manager it is not listed, it is listed as a user and check marked as a "super user".
Solution?
found it, the users are listed by username not necessarily login name. the username is not labeled as "manager" it was labeled as something else.

Oops - Looks like a user can be both. So make sure you're logged in as manager when adding it to the approver list.

Originator is Jim J.

Only thing I can think of is that "manager" is also an originator on the approval template. Can't be both. If manager is originator, remove from template, add as approver. Then add "Scott" as originator --
