Find all the accounts that have had at least once a credit or a debt

How can I find all the accounts that have had at least once a credit or a debt, for New GL accounting.

Perhaps "" SELECT DISTINCT HKONT FROM BSEG ...."? Is there something better, because BSEG is cluster table, very large.
