query not showing any data-urgent

hi experts

i ma facing this problem: i have created an ISH (services) infocube which i have loaded with data, when i do a 'display data' on my cube i can properly see the data, when i open the query designer or analyser though, even when designing the simplest of queries ie just a service and its billed quantity and value i get a 'No Applicable Data Found' message

it is not a matter of authorization i have full priviledges and i also have 4 other cubes on which i can create reports on normally

the data in my cube is available for reporting

if anyone could suggest something it would be appreciated as i am working on a strict deadline

Hi,

Have you used Any filters in Query deginer or Variables( SAP Exit,Customer Exit) or restriction .

is it issue for the one report or All the rports with based on same cube or Complete BW reports .

no the only filter i am using is my organisation unit but it wont work with it or without it

the problem is with data from the specific infocube, i can create reports fine from other 4 infocubes, the thing is that i can see data in my infocube through 'display data' in rsa1

also in the designer when i expand all my fields on the left hand-side it does present me with patient numbers, service numbers,case numbers,dates etc its just when i run the report that this message comes up

I think you are checking query in Dev where usualy we have very less data to check, Please check data against whatever input you giving while executing your query.

Hi ,

If your query is on multiprovider , then makesure to check there are no restrictions/filters on cubes.

Also inlcude any keyfigure from the cube,where other characteristics are being assigned from or where u r seeing data, in the query.

If you dont want to see the Keyfigure, u can hide it using keyfigure display properties in the query designer.

my query is not on a multiprovider

additional info is that it is based on the 0hc_services (0hc_c30) cube

i have also run rsrt without cache and didnt get any error messages

finally in the analyser i executer the whole cube without selecting any query and i still didnt see any data even though i can see it in bw

Hi,

Try to Regenerate the query from teh RSRT transaction by clicking on Generate button and then execute it.

Need to provide the info. regarding ur scenario in detail to resolve this kind of issues,,,

could be org unit which is in filter missing data due to missing customer exit.. wrong mappings check authorization and functional team

could be no data in the system

could be due to the colums definition..

Hi,

Are all of your requests available for reporting, can you see the BEX icon in front of each request in Manage tab?

If not then mark the option quality status automatically to 'OK' from Menu bar.

hi and thanks for your response

in 'manage' when i press 'aggregates' it says there arent any and it asks me if i want the system to propose some for me

the tick box above saying 'compress after rollup' is ticked if that is what you mean by compression

Hi,

Have you checked is there any aggregates created on top this Cube ? if so please roll it up. Also please check the request is avaiable for reporting. Go to Manage of the cube and see ...check if there any compression availble for the report.
