Hello,
Is it advisable to to make backdated change to IT0007 - Work schedule rule for an employee. Please confirm what will be the impact of the same. Will it impact payroll of employee.

Please answer to below questions to get back to you with the solution
1) Why do you want to change the IT0007 start date?
2) What is the Hiring Actons Start Date of the employee in IT0000 ?
3) What is the Actual joining date of any employee?
4) What is the record start date in IT0008?
5) what is the record start date in IT0007?
6) Is the Payroll Processed to that employee for whom you want to change the record start date ?
May be last 5 questions helps you to suffice the 1st question

Changes will not only effect .... master data and triggers Retro , But also Effect the Pay roll if , the DWSR Working hours differs Between old one to new one

i agree with salil's response.
if you change the master data it will result in payroll and need to run retro.
can you elaborate what is issue that you want to change the dates to backdated in IT-0007.

Hi,
yes, definitely it will affect the payroll. Because the Work hrs/Period (capital utilization ) field in IT0008 is derived from IT0007 weekly working hours.

Any changes to master data will result in payroll running a retro,however if this does not impact him monetarily,there wont be any changes other than updation of IT007.
