In Backend PA - We have 2 actions assigned for one Personal Number with one active and one withdrawn - and have different date ranges.
But in our portal ess screen, we are getting a popup and showing both actions -"Multiple Personal Assignmnets", if we select withdrawn , the application is not working and if we select active , it is working.
We would like to not to show the popup in the portal for the end user - plesae suggest.
In order that the service is no longer available for a terminated
assignment, You need to do the customisation in V_T7XSSCESTATFLT.
Have you done this? or implement a BADI to do this
IF_EX_SERVICE_FILTER~SERVICE_FILTER
Read the SPRO for more information on this.
for cats, there is a note 1495638
Identify the application that you wish to make unavailable by providing
the following attributes:
Application ID EMPLOYEE_RECORDWORKTIME_SERVICE05
Application Path
Application Name
Service Key EMPLOYEE_WORKTIME_RECORDWORKTIME05
or check this example for leave request
2. Enter EMPLOYEE_LEAVEREQUEST_SERVICE_13 as Application ID. Application
Path is populated as sap.com/ess~lea and Application Name is populated
as Leave Request.
3. Enter EMPLOYEE_WORKTIME_LEAVEREQUEST_13 as Service Key.
Please follow the customisation or read the SPRO docs
These are the standard services, if you are using Z versions, customise accordingly!

Have you already delimited or deleted infotype 0105 subtype 0001 record for the withdrawn employee number? That should remove the linkage between the user and pernr.
