I setup a BPL scenario for maintenance orders and I am trying to simulate it for a small subset, but it is taking several hours to run. I notice that on the sender system, it is only using one background process. It there a way to increase the number of parallel process for the simulation?
Hi James,
I'm not sure if more processes make sense for simulation at all if you select only a small number of maintenance orders. Perhaps you have to check if the data model behind needs to be adapted for your system.
Generally the number of simulation / extraction processes can be encreased by changing the settings for max number of simulation / extraction processes in activity "Scenario Master Data Settings (Optional)" and setting the number
of parallel processes per starting table in activity "Change Technical Settings (Optional)".
Please have a look in the Solution Operations Guide of TDMS (Chapter 8.2) for more information.
