Webdynpro BSP Question

Hello,

We have a BSP Application running on Portal. Now we want to call a Webdynpro Java Application to execute some code in the background at the time when BSP Application is loading. Is this possible to do and how .?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

WDJ is for frontend application, we can't call it in background. What is that ur trying to achieve, you have to call the function module or WebService to achieve it.

We can't call the WDJ in background but you can find out the FMs used in WDJ easily and have to call those FMs from ur BSP.

The UWL work items data comes from the back end, we should be able to clear it. anyway u might have thought about these.

What you can do is to write a WebService and wrap the functionality of WDJ into WebService and call it from BSP.

Or alternatively, when ever the clean up has to be done, from BSP open a popup window and in the popup window show the WDJ App and ask users to take the action.
