Reimport XSD

Hi All,

This might be very quick & i can't do a test because of system down.

We have XSD map to BAPI. Now due to defect the XSD is being changed to add one more field. When i re import the XSD what would be the affect on mapping for other fields.

I am sure there would not be any impact on the other mapping & i don't have to do again but still wanted to confirm. Ii have to be 100% sure before i can commit.

If the data structure changes happens during re-import you will lose your old mapping. In your case you add few fields inaddition to the existing structure, so it wont impact at all.

Hi.

if you add extra field , your mapping wouldn't change.. also if you change or quite any field only the mapping will be afect for this field, the other fields will be ok..

Reimporting the xsd should not effect your mapping since its just an additional field was added and not the structure.
