Creating new requirement class to enable a different consumption indicator

Former Member

Hi,

I managed to insert a requirements class (maintain requirement classes) and allocate a new requirement type to this req. class. I defined new planning strategy and strategy group. But when I wanted provide it with new consumption indicator (default values for req.classes) I couldn't find this new req.class in the list.

Where should I insert new requirement classes for PIRs?

I studied the contents of customizing table T459C and found there is an emptry row at the top of the table:

MANDT BEDAR VERVP HISKZ VERSB VERVS VERBI APROG INNUM HIABB

400

400 100 X 00 X 00 1

400 101 1 X 00 X 00 1

Is this OK or could it cause the fact new reqs type is not added into this table?

Dear Jami,

It come automatically in OMPC (Check indep.reqmts/consumption of requirements classes) when you maintain it in OMPO (Maintain requirements classes), Can you please delete it try once again. I have tried this in my system and its coming fine.

Hi,

thanks for your answer. I am sorry for my question which was not accurate enough. Actually the problem concerns transaction OMP6, where I cannot find the requirements class, OMPC is OK, but I can't save the default consumption indicator there.

If you add entry in OMPO, it will automatically show in OMP6 where you can default

Thanks for your answer. It makes me certain I understood the functionality correctly, but there is something wrong in our system, because the new reqs classes do not show in OMP6
