i am currently installing

the was 640 java add in for the was 640 abap.

i am logged in as /Sap_LocalAdmin and the installation fails.

Please check the following error messages:

Successfully added privileges 'SeServiceLogonRight SeNetworkLogonRight SeDenyInteractiveLogonRight SeDenyRemoteInteractiveLogonRight' to account 'JDCKARLSRUHESAPServiceJXI' on host '.'.

ERROR 2005-03-16 16:36:28

FSL-00001 System call failed. Error 1332 (No mapping between account names and security IDs was done.

) in execution of system call 'LookupAccountName' with parameter (NULL, jdcbwSAP_LocalAdmin, ...), line (305) in file (synxcaccmg.cpp).

ERROR 2005-03-16 16:36:28

FSH-00008 A system error occurred when executing function LookupAccountName. ErrorNo=1332

i don´t know exactly what to do now? should i edit the xml file or what can be done?

or am i wrong with my assumption, that the system´s reference to the group isn´t valid?

Hi,

i posted a OSS message today referring to this SDN thread.

As soon as I have a solution, I will report it here. Hope it doesn't take too long.

Hi,

i had the same problem too.

Actually i'm installing the "Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 2004 Slim Edition (Java)" on Windows 2003 DomainController. In this case the relevant settings are stored in "<Location_Of_SAPINST.EXE>\ADA\control.xml", which is being copied to "<SAPINST_INSTDIR>\j2ee_wp\installdefault\" during installation.

Before i started a new installation i searched the original "control.xml" for String "LocalAdmin".

I replaced:

'name:<u>host</u> + "
SAP_LocalAdmin"'

with

'name:<u>this.getDomain()</u> + "
SAP_LocalAdmin"'

and

'name:<u>host</u> + "
SAP_" + this.getSID() + "_LocalAdmin"'

with

'name:<u>this.getDomain()</u> + "
SAP_" + this.getSID() + "_LocalAdmin"'

The installation is still running at the moment, but far behind that point where the error always came up.

For me it looks very good.

SAP says installation on a DC is not supported, which not means that it would be impossible.

Remember to edit the "control.xml" at it's original location BEFORE you start the installation.

Good luck,

Hi Gideon Lenz,

Even I am facing the same problem. Could you please revert to reddyshobaan@yahoo.com if you have solved the same.

Thanks in advance,

Hi shoban,

Is it local installation or domain installation. If it is local installation you have to give hostname/username or if it is domain installation you have to give the domain\username(user should be there in the Domain Controller).

Hi Gideon,

I am facing the same issue here. Did you manage to solve this problem and go ahead with the installation?

Thanks in advance

In fact, i ended performing a local installation.

but see: if you perform a local installation you won´t get this error message.

my assumptionL: the installation routine installs users and user groups according to the pattern /user.

this error could have occurred because i tried to install the system on the host of the domain controller.

suggestion: one could try to have a look at the according xml file and change the entries - if they are available.

the reference to the users is wrong as it seems.

i definitely wonder that there is no hint to resolve this problem in the oss.
