Dear Freinds,

Please tell me the Process for Creation of Quality certificate for Finished Goods. The certificate has to be printed at the time of delivery for each serial number and to be sent to the customer along with the material.

Thanks

Dear

Create a Certificate Profile in T.Code QC01

1. assign the Characteristics.

2. assign the material, inspection origin and inspection type.

Assign the certificate profile to material in QC17.

Create the certificate in QC20.

With Regards

Pushpalas

Message no. QC138

in QC20, when I am putting delivery and other details, one line item it is showing in output for deliveries screen, but after ticking in the checkbox, and clicking on print preview button, it is giving one error message

You are getting these messages because you have not recorded result against those chara of batch/ inspection lot. To avoid errors 1) go to inspection lot/ batch and record result for chara. for which you are gettings these errors or 2) Maintain these char as "optional" in certificate profile. Currently you have maintained these MICs as required in cert profile, so system is expecting result against it. So make those MICs to optional. You will be able to do without error.

1. No certificate profile was found

> Message no. QC030

Reason for this error is this material/ cpmbination is not assigned to certificate profile. Go to QC16. Click on overview and execute transaction for material or plan to check assignment. If cert profile not assigned then assign it here.

First error has been solved (Message no. QC090). In the status of the MIC, I had selected "Incomplete Copy Model", now I changed to Reference characteristic. Now in certificate profile, certificate view, print is coming.

In QC20, still same message is coming, I checked in QC16, certificate profile has been assigned.

Error @ QC20 itself is saying there is some problem at certificate profile assignemnt. Check the profile status. It should be in "release" status. Check one more time profile assignment @ QC17.

You need to troubleshoot error couple of time, check step by step...

The Print has started coming now. But the print is coming for the batch not the serial numbers.

My requirement is for every serial number, different print is required. Supposing in a delivery 10 quantity is there then I need 10 print outs for all the 10 serial numbers.

This is system's correct behaviour. System will print certificate for Batch not for individual serial number. If batch has more than 1 serial number then system will print multiple serian number along with batch in certificate.

If you have this kind of specific requirement to print COA for each serial number then you can find user exit in print program with help ABAPer and define your logic over there, you would be able to do it with customization.

Thanks.
