Hi Pradeep,

I used the parallel Query optimizer hint

in RSRT and subtransactions and the costs

seriously broke down.

Thank You

Hello,

The option to include hints into the statements should only be used by DB development in order to provide a workaround for Optimizer failures.

The general approach for BW queries is not to provide access plan hints. Instead always ensure the statistics are fully up-to-date.

Hi Michael,

the question is how to get the Hint persistent into the productive Query.

Basically, its how to get SAP/BI fast and to use

availabe resources in terms of CPU's ( which the customer has pasid and are not used)

and not what the standard does or not does.

The one makes STAR_TARNSFOMATION and nothing else which does not seem to be efficient.

You have a solution ?

ThanXs

Martin
