Process chain Production not showing

Hi all,

I have created process chain in Dev and transported from Dev to Production. For transporting the process chain, I have colleged the request in RSA1 Transport connection and using Tcode SE09, I have released the request, it is perfectly ok.

And in Production system using the Tcode STMS_IMPORT succesfully imported. But the thing is, the transported process chain in Production not displaying anything. Kindly suggest your valuables....

Hi Baskaran

Check whether the transport request (in import history-STMS) which carried your process chain is successful i.e the return code should be either RC0 or RC4.

1. If its successful then --Goto RSPC1 , give the technical name and execute, now check and activate your PC

2. If its not successful then --Goto SE03. select RSPC , give the technical name of your PC, check and execute, it shows the transport request containing your PC. Please re-import it ,if its not successful. May be your PC is included in some other request.

Hi

Open the PC using RSPC1. now i think you are not getting any thing.

just click on display/change(pencil) button, now you able to see your process chain.

now check and activate your process chain.

Hi Baskaran,

There can be 2 issues here.

1) The process has not been collected properly and u might have ended up in importing the empty transport. check if the contents of the transport shows the process chain.

2) If the process chain has been properly collected and transported and if you are able to see the process chain under the application component...then all you need to do is try to access the chain in change mode and you will be able to see it, just activate it and your are done.

Generally, the first time you send any new process chain to QA or PROD, they will be in Modified version and the variants in the process chain will be displayed, only if the chain is opened in Edit/Change mode.

You mean, the chain has come in Prod and you are unable to open it........?

Logoff from your Prod and login again to check.

I feel import has not happened properly. Re-import again and see........
