BAPI or Function Module to Complete Maintenance calls in IP10

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement where I need to complete the Maintenance calls in Maintenance plans.

For this purpose we are using transaction IP10 and the complete the Maintenance calls by clicking on the Complete flag at the bottom of the screen.

At present we are using BDC for the same purpose, but I need a BAPI or function Module to perform the same functionality

as there are some complication using BDC for the same.

Kindly provide me any other way, if any, to achieve the same functionality. Like User exit, BADI, Implicit Enhancements, OSS notes etc.
