Hierarchy upload flat file – Issue.

Hi Guys,

I need to upload a hierarchy using flat file. The result is perfect, the problem is that the hierarchy description is replaced by the technical name after the upload. For instance if I upload the hierarchy and then I change the description manually and then I upload the flat file again the description is replaced. In spite of the first record of my flat file has the 0HIER_NODE with description.

The first record of my flat file looks like:

00000000000000005250;0HIER_NODE;ZWAID_HIER;;;20201012;20060101;EN;Jerarquia Prevención.

I followed up this link and it doesnu2019t mention this issue. <<Text removed>>

Regards,

Iván.

Hi,

I am having the same issue. I have also loaded the UNSPSPC hierarchy but the text data was not getting loaded.

Can anybody come up with the solution?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

When you create a Hierarchy structure, it will ask you the Hierarchy Name and Short discription in Infopackage itself.

This name will display as the discription. Please let me know if your need more help.

Thanks,

Hi,

Make sure your Z info object is text enabled.

goto RSA1 --> edit mode of your info object --> in master data/texts tab select "with text" check box and activate the info object.

This should solve your issue.

Hi Ivan

Strange Error!! Please check if you have Text Enabled for the InfoObject for which you are loading hierarchy.

Like if you are loading hierarchy for ZCUSTOMER, from InfoObject maintenance please check if you have this InfoObject text

enabled.

The names of the characteristic nodes are taken from the master data text table. The names of the text nodes (folders) are taken from the hierarchy table ( H table of InfoObject).

Regards

Anindya
