Consignment pick up create inspection lot

Hi There,

We want to create a inspection lot when posting goods receive coming from a customer consignment stock.

We use the standard movement type 632 to get the stock back from the consigment stock.

I did not find a way to create an inspection lot using this movement type.

Compared to movement type 651 which is used in RE creates an inspection lot.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I think this is not possible since it is an issue movement type. Goods move outwards from inventory. Since there will be no plant stock, movement cannot be used to initiate quality inspection.

If you had not checked, there is a customization step for activating quality management for this goods movement under Quality Management->Quality Inspection->Inspections for goods movements. 632 is not listed here nor you can see an inspection lot origin assigned to it.

You can specify custom inspection types and manually create inspection lots for the process.
