How to set up the SBO-Mailer

Hi all,

Does anyone ever setup the SBO Mailer ?

I try to configure using gmail account for the SMTP server. And send the PO document to email yahoo account but i havent received it in my yahoo account. Am i miss something ?

Hi,

I have follow the stesp but still fail.

My steps is like this.

1 i choose the SBO-Mailer in service in server tool

2. Click the settings button.

3. Configure the

- SMTP Server :

plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com

- SMTP Port : 465

- User name : my yahoo account

- Password : ######

- Encoding : English ( United States)

- SMTP Client : Microsoft .Net

- Authentication : Basic Authentication

- Check the Use TLS Encryption

- Check the direction right to left

- Check the include subject in message body

- Check send error notification to user

- Check send success notification to user

- Check send notification by internal mail

- Click the button OK

3. Click the button Connection

- Choose DB Type : MSSQL_2008

- Choose DB Server : MYSERVER

- Click the OK Button

4. Click the Database button

- Choose the DB Name : SBODemoAU

- Click the OK button

5. Click the schedule button

- click By Intervals : Every 5 minutes

- Click the OK Button

6. Run the start button in this service

7. Login to SBODemoAU as manager user

8. Go to Setup user , find the manage user.

9. Change the email manager with my yahoo account and click Update button.

10. Open the AR invoice document and choose one of the document number

11. Click the contact person and change the email of the contact person. For this case i use gmail account. and click the update button

12. Back to the document number and click the email in toolbar

13. Check the email , fill the subject and text area. Make sure the email address is correct

14. Click the send button.

The problem is i have waited for more then 15 minutes. But still receive this email in the gmail account.

Base on my steps , do i miss something ?
