Hi,
Can any one explain me about the transaction code CEWB and its functionality of executing the transaction.
What are all the uses that can be obtained from this transaction.
And in specific i need to know how to make an change to the storage location, which is available in the BOM using this transaction
Regards,
Deepak GS
Dear Deepak,
This T.Code CEWB can be used for mass change of field values related to BOM header or BOM item level or for the operations
in the routing. You can see the multiple line items say for Eg,all the BOM components for a list of material BOM and you can make
necessary changes in the same.
The work list which is an input for this transaction can be configured in T.Code OP77,also use search option to get more info in
this forum.

Dear Deepak,
As far as I know, Storage Location for BOM on Production Order is maintain on MRP View 2 (MM01/MM02)
If you want to do mass change for storage location, you can use Tcode MM17 as follows:
- Choose "Plant Data for Material" (MARC) then 'Execute'
- entry plant and/or material then 'Execute'
- on the top left, click 'Select Field' then select "Storage loc. for EP" (and "Prod. stor. location" also, if you want)
- entry new storage location on the "new values" record
- click 'Carry Out a Mass Change' to do mass change
- or you can change 1 by 1 on the list record
wish you luck..

Dear !!!!
This T code CEWB is used in Engineering work bench, where no need of maintaining separate BOM & routing.

Where else Using CS20,mass changes to a material, document & class can be carried out.
