Link between Plant material CV01N and MM01

folks,

what is the link between MM01 and CV02n.

IF iam maintaing any material link in Material master tab

in object links(CV02N), document link is reflecting in

corresponding material.If Am i doing the same thing with

plant material tab(CV02N) the link is not reflecting in

corresponding material.

Can I have any possible causes of this issue.

Hi,

To appear any object link in a transaction we need a screen.

SAP has provided the screen for materials from DMS side i.e. MARA 201 and MARC 211

As you know Table MARA is not plant specific where as MARC is specific to the plant and stores plant specific information.

Where as SAP has provided link from both sides i.e DMS side and as well as Transaction level from MM01,02,03 which is for the first object that is MARA.

The transaction side screen is not provided for the material and plant combination.

Normally as far as material master is concerned , What SAP provided should suffice.

How ever it should be up to client requirement to develop one. One can develop the screen and link from the object link

( There are many such nodes in this forum, if you want more information).

Hi there, after all of this years, is there any standard solution for it?. Are there any way to use the Plant Material Object Link in DMS, without custom developments?.
