deletion of stock quantity

I need to know if there is a provision in SAP to delete or reduce stock of a material with out impacting any GL accounts.

Hi,

For material type UNBW stock removal won't effect G/L accounts because it is nonvaluated. For valuated stock G/L accounts will trigger for stock removal (for example in scrapping scrap account will trigger). Thanking you.

Hi,

If your material is a valuated one, then its not possible.

Alternative is to use a mov,type which doesn't have a value string.
