Allowed Total Weight in Shipment Document v/s Delivery document

Dear Gurus,

I am maintaining the vehicle weight in vehicle master, which automatically came in the shipment document, quantity weight is coming in the delivery document.

When i assign the delivery to the shipment, system call the vehicle weight on the shipment document, Allowed total weight, but cant give me the auto pop up message if there is a difference in b/w delivery weight and vehicle allowed limit weight, but when i change the allowed total weight field even by a minimum KG at shipment document, and if there is a difference system give me the message that

Total weight 300 KG is more than allowed total weight for shipment 252 KG

My question is that why system don't do it automatically initially.

This allowed rate should be coming from the route assigned.

Check out table-field:

V_TVRO_COM-ALLOWED_TWGT (or transaction 0VTC) against the route on the shipment. It would be 252 kg based on my understanding of that error message.
