Internal order Legacy Upload

Hi

We have in Implementation phase. our previous system is SAP 4.7 now we are establishing ecc6.0 .

but totally new implementation. In our previous system for asset accounting we have Statistical and Real order with budget management. Now i have some question is as under.

1. How can we map Internal order in our New System with reference to orders which we have in 4.7 system.

2. In Previous System we have assign Investment order in Asset Master data should i also have assign same in New system.

3. What about the line item of previous Internal order.

Please guide if all of you have any other view

Hi,

I don't understand your doubt. Are you changing your organizational structure when upgrading to ECC 6.0? Because if not, then why would you map your 'old' objects to hypothetical 'new' ones? If you do want to change your master data situation, then it has nothing to do with ECC 6.0 upgrade.

As i have mentioned in my thread it is not an up gradation. It is Totally New Implementation of SAP ECC6.0 . Client Previous System is 4.7. So I have big Question about what to do with Internal order line Items and Budget Line Items.

We are Totally Changing Master Data In New System

" So I have big Question about what to do with Internal order line Items and Budget Line Items." - I think you're going to upload historical data in FI too? So I don't think you need to upload IO items, only if some adjustments or settlments weren't reflected in FI.

And Budget you need to upload if you want to control it.

Hi,

How can anyone tell you what to do with your system? Gather business requirements, sit with functional key users and check whether you have to do something with the master data (keep it or modify it) or not. For transactional data there are known cut-off strategies; you can find them while searching Web or SDN.

Hi,

1-you have new internal orders codes?

You can map them via ever text field from AUFNR, eg External order number(AUFEX)

2-If you have new one then yes
