Hi Gurus,
I was testing a sample application to use webdynpro componentisation.
Situation:
Project 1:
Component 1.1
Project 2:
Component 2.1
I need to reuse the Component 1.1 in component 2.1
So I added component 1.1 to Project1's public part(eg: com11_PP)
Then I added the same (com11_PP) to project2's Used DC.
after that when I tried add it in component2.1's 'used webdynprocomponents',
it is not avilable there.
Whether i am missing anything?
Thanks in advance,
Sree
Hi Sreejith,
What is the dependency Type you have mentioned ?
Try building the Project 1 and add the Used Dc..

The dependency type: i selected Design Time,Build Time,Deploy Time.
After creating each project I build & Deployed.
Only after i added the dependency.
I rebuilded again.
When tested the same senario in one project,
Project1,
Component1.1
Component1.2
then tried 'used webdynpro components'
Its working fine.
But if both components are in diff projects, Its not working.
anyone can elaborate the process happening inside framework?
In which all files it will update internally.
Thanks,
Sree
Hi ,
for checking purpose i added exception framework and checked whether its coming in 'used webdynpro components'.
Then it was showing. .Then i deleted all and again created. Now its working fine.
Interesting thing is now exception framework is showing in 'used webdynpro components'.
So my conclution is its studio error. For using the above senario, it must work, else its some studio related issue only.
Thanks to all.
I will gave points for spending time for my question.
have you rebuild(dc build) everything?
