I try to add new period(10/01/2011-10/31/2011) value to exist operand in installation facts, but when I transfer, it said"enter dates that do not overlap". what does that mean?

It means : for that installation and operand, there exists a time slice with oevralaping period with the new entered dates e.g. if for operand EAH-CONAMT there exist a time slice with dates 01.01.2011 to 01.03.2011 and if a new time slice is created for same operand with dates 28.02.2011 - 01.04.2011, system will not allow it. Because both the time slice has an overlap period of 28.02.2011 to 01.03.2011.

Please check in the installation facts for the operand for existing time slice ..or look into table ETTIFN for that particular operand and installation. You can only enter new time slice for non existing period for that operand and installation.

I checked the installation facts and that operand, didn't find any overlap time slice.

Hi,

Is this problem related to concession operand?

It is in operand cat. Factor; normal oper. value.

I found a billing period from 09/01/2011-10/02/2011 in the document view for this installation number, Thought that may be the reason of overlap, I reversed the invoice and billing document, then try to add the value to the operand, but still the same issue.
