WBS element update in BSEG table for Asset transcations

Hi Experts,

When we are posting asset transaction (e.g. Purchase) in SAP ECC 6.0. it is not updating WBS element in BSEG table which is maintained in asset masters time dependent tab.

it is updating profit center in BSEG table which assigned in WBS element but not WBS element.

Please let me know the config setting missing to fulfill the requirement.

Hi

If you want to post to WBS element or Internal order for capitalized assets then you have to create GL account as cost element.

Check whether you created GL account as cost element or not.

Hi,

The cost object which ever you maintained in Time Dependent tab will be use to post Depreciation and Gain/Loss of the asset.

As I understand if you are posting the Acquisition of the asset then the GL account should be Balance sheet account, so how you are expecting to post a WBS element?
