EHP 5 - Credit managment without XI or PI

Hi Experts

Statement: In EHP 5 FSCM Credit management can do the credit worthiness checks and credit commitment updates without depending on XI or PI.

Can someone explain me IN DETAIL how does the system do credit worthiness checks and credit commitment updates without PI integration in EHP 5?

What is the process to be followed to achieve above ?

1) We have to use the (WS-RM) - web Service Reliable messaging protocol for communication

2) Point to point connections can be set up in the SOA Manager

Hi Meenakshi,

Were you able to implement the FSCM call with WS-RM? If so, could you help to explain how you implemented it? I am having the same issue and I have already activated FIN_FSCM_CCD_3 which is supposed to be a requirement for this. Also, were you able to implement it for CreditworthinessQuery? Since the info page for FIN_FSCM_CCD_3 say the following:

You can use SAP Credit Management without needing to install a separate server for using SAP NetWeaver Process Integration. This option is available not just in a one system landscape but also if you are using central SAP Credit Management in a multiple system landscape, in which there is a separate system for Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) or several separate systems for Accounts Receivable Accounting (FI-AR). The messages are exchanged using the Web Services Reliable Messaging (WS-RM) log that ensures both the transfer of messages and that they are received in the correct order. The use of this technology enables simplified message exchange in particular for smaller companies with one or very few systems. Hello

I am trying to run FSCM credit management, I've done every thing related to FSCM and SD configuration and also WSRM configuration for these two web services bellow, based on the following link:

I have to mention that these two BADIs are activated too:

BADI_SD_CM

UKM_R3_ACTIVATE

Seems everything is fine and in our customer(=BP) i assign the credit check and credit segment and scores are updated correctly. but when i create sales order the credit exposure does not update.

I just checked every thing and then i realized that i have to configure this web service as well:

creditCommitmentNotification_in. but in fact I don't know how to configure this.

would you please help me out and let me know what are the steps that i have to follow to make it done.

Hi Rosa,

have you activate the BAdI UKM_FILL, for the method FILL_FIELDS? That's the way to update the credit exposure to the corresponding categories.

In the note 2009736 you'll find an example to implement it.

Hi Meenakshi, without PI you will have to set point to point connections (WS-RM).
