TREX Trace file deletion/reorganization

Dear Experts,

In one of our TREX Engine the Preprocessor server trace file is growing to 600MB and its already reached default no of max files:10.We are daily getting alert mails for this trace file because of its current size.

As per the documentation normally reorganization of trace files will be handled automatically by TREX engine once it reaches the max file size in configuration file.

Is there any specific reason,in our case all our max files has been reached and current trace file reaching to 600MB(but max file size:10MB) withour any reorganization of old files.

Could you please let me know,is there any procedure to handle these large TRX trace files.

Hi Sanam,

For the TREX Preprocessor trace, You define the maximum file size for the input and output of documents in INI file - TREXPreprocessor.ini

The default size is set to 'Unlimited'

Please check the following values maintained in the configuration file.

Section: [ httpclient ]

Parameter: max_content_length

Default: Unlimited
