Cannot parse Oadta metadata

I have a my own Odata service. it works fine in the browser, But while using it sap ui5 application via web ide. it says , cannot parse metadata file.

1. I tried the approaches of opening the service in the browser and then try to load it. No luck.

2. Even browsing metadata file resulted in same error.

3. XML validateor says : no error found.

Could anybody please help?

I found the solution , actually some Navigation properties in the odata metadata were used but they were not having definitions.

Defining them solved the issue.
