Unlink button in Document search on interaction centre

Hi Experts,

We have attached documents in interaction centre which are visible in the document search in IC_CM workcentre.

Can someone help me whats the use of Unlink button in document search?Can we use it to delete the document from interaction centre?As currently when we re clicking on this button and nothing is happening
