Hi,
I restarted my IDM server. Now when I try to log in to portal and click on Identity Management tab, I get the following error.
Access Denied!
Service is Down.
Management console seems to be working perfectly and all the jobs are working as expected from the back end.
Any suggestion?
...and is your IDM server and all the necessary services started?
Markus

This will have nothing to do with the IDM backend. It's a NetWeaver issue.
Make sure:
The NetWeaver Service is up
The NetWeaver Database is up
The NW IDM data source / configuration is correct
You are using the correct JDBC drivers.
What database is NW running on? I know for MSSQL you need the JDBC 1.2 drivers. Also make sure htat you're connecting to the NW db using 64 bit not 32 bit Java. This is a major issue for IDM installs. IDM wants 32 bit and Java 1.5 or later but NW wants 64 bit and 1.4.2
Hope this helps!
Hello
Go to NWA and see your running applications
Search for IDM and see that they are all up and running.
