Odd Sales Order Issue

Hi all,

We have a Sales Order ( in SAP 8.8 PL19) which is open- unfortunately we have no option to right click and close or cancel or through data-close. Also right clicking and closing each row has no affect- we can see them close but when we browse away and then back to the sales order they are open again. Show history shows nothing of interest and there are no target or base documents attached?

What can we try next or is this straight off to SAP Support?

Just for any other users getting this problem this is from SAP support:

We have investigated on the issue and found that for the affected Sales Order ***,*,*** the Canceled field is Y. That is the reason why the Data #> Cancel/ Close option is grey.

We have prepared a corrective query for you.

The update query:

update ORDR set canceled = 'N' WHERE DocNum in ('****','***','****')

In case you receive different results from the above expected results, do not run the queries on the customer productive database. Please return this support message with all related information and t he new database backup to the Global Support Center. Please confirm this message if the issuewas resolved by running the suggested fix.

After running the update query, you should be able to cancel the Sales Order.

Hi,

Can you please check these two things and update us :

1) Is there any message appearing in the System Log when the rows for the Sales Order is closed?

2) Is there any additional code in SP_transactionNotification?

Also, do let us know if there are other such SO affected by the issue or this is the only document.
