Hi,

We have an issue in Real Estate Business Partner Role Category. We have created two BP Role categories as below:

a. ZR800V - Master Agreement

b. ZR800W - Multiple Landlord

Issue

We are unable to assign the above BP role category in the Business partner transaction code 'BP'.

Kindly help to resolve the issue

Thanks,

Hi

You need to create a BP role and assign the Role category to BP role. Then you can see the BP role in the BP transaction.

Hello Deepak,

Thanks for response and I'm sorry to tell you that I have already done the below configuration steps:

1. Create Business Partner Roles

SPRO  Flexible Real Estate Management (Enterprise Extension)  Business Partner  Relevant Settings for Business Partner in RE Context  Business Partner Role Categories  Business Partner Role Categories

Created the below roles:-

a. ZR800V - Master Agreement

b. ZR800W - Multiple Landlord

2. Assign Role Category to an Application

SPRO  Flexible Real Estate Management (Enterprise Extension)  Business Partner  Relevant Settings for Business Partner in RE Context  Business Partner Role Categories  Assignment of Role Categories to Real Estate Applications  Assign Role Category to an Application

Assigned the above roles to the below Applications

a. 0036 General Real Estate Contract

b. 0052 Property

c. 0053 Buildings

d. 0054 Rental Unit

3.Specify Number Range (Grouping) and Address Type

SPRO  Flexible Real Estate Management (Enterprise Extension)  Business Partner  Relevant Settings for Business Partner in RE Context  Business Partner Role Categories  Assignment of Role Categories to Real Estate Applications  Specify Number Range (Grouping) and Address Type

Assigned role categories ZR800V & ZR800W to Group u2018BPu2019 and Address type u2018FIRMAu2019

However still I could not see the role to assign to a BP.

Kindly help me.

Thank you,

Hari

Hi Sriram,

There are 2 objects that needs to be created

1. BP Role Category

2. BP role

What you seem to have created is BP role category and not BP role. That is why you are not geting them in BP transaction, as in BP transaction BP roles are there and not the BP category. You need to create new BP roles and attach your BP category to the newly created BP role.

Or if you have already created a BP role then check if a BP role Category is assigned to the BP role. u can check the standard BP roles like TR0600 for reference.

Deepak

Hi Deepak,

Can you let me know the SPRO paths for both BP role and BP role Category. I could not find the transaction codes.

I'll find and let you know if I have configured.

Thank you,

Hari

Hi,

The path is same as BP role Category. when the screen opens in the left side u can see the BP role category and BP role link in a tree form.

Hi Deepak,

I could not find it from that path, there is no tree option. Not sure if it is because we are using older version, we are presently in 4.7 version.

Could you direct me the path, please?

Thank you,

Hari

Hi,

I am trying to configure field attributes per BP role in the below SPRO transaction

SPRO - Flexible Real Estate Management (Enterprise Extension) - Business Partner - Relevant Settings for Business Partner in RE Context - Business Partner Role Categories - Configure Field Attributes per BP Role

And getting this error while clicking on the field grouping button

=====================================

System unable to determine any relevant views

Message no. R1308

Diagnosis

Function module "BUS_FMOD_CUSTOMIZING" was called without valid views.

Procedure

This error can occur if views have not been assigned to a role.

=====================================

I had taken the help of my ABAPer and he says, that the function module is looking at the entry in table TBZOS. Other BP roles like ZR800A, ZR800B, etc are maintained in this table, but not ZR800V & ZR800W.

Please guide me how to get out of this message

Thank you,

Hari

Hi,

Check the BP view assigned to BP role.

For further investigation, goto SE16N and enter table name as V_TBZ0S, click on view maintenance and check the data sets is been assigned to your Z-role or not.

Hello Srini,

Thanks for your reply and Deepak I am sorry for not updating you the outcome of the issue.

We have contacted SAP, they replied that data sets and applications are not available for the referred BP roles. This can be maintained through transaction code BUSD.

This transaction maintains entries in the table TBZ0S (for data sets) & TBZ0C (applications). Presently this transaction is not available in SPRO in the current release and is made available in SPRO from the next release only .

Thanks a lot for your contribution!

Bye

Hari
