Every month end, we settle IO unused supplies to inventory accounts (using KO88) but last July 2011 until today, system prompts this error: "Complete Allocation Structure A1"? Can anyone please help me resolve the error? Upon checking the settlement allocation structure, the master data and parameters seems all accurate. Please help resolve this issue. Thank you all in advance.

Thank you for the answer. However upon adding the cost element in OKO6, I encountered the message Cost element 70000025 not from category 22 or not available, Message no. K4010. What will I need to do next? How will I add this cost elemet and which config? Appreciate your soonest reply. Thank you very much.

What is your scenario.

The settlement of internal order is happening to outside CO object. Then you need to define cost element 70000025 with category 22. The system is giving the error as the cost element does not belongs to 22 category. kindly check in KA03

Again please tell is for a particular order you are receiving this error. IF yes kindly check other internal orders what cost element you have defined.

Hi, upon checking in the internal order master data settlement rule, Category is G/L Settlement receiver is 10018085. But upon checking the allocation structure, settlement cost element values are: R eceiverCategory is G/L, By cost element box is unticked and settlement cost element is 70000025. Can you advise if this causes the error? Do I need to change the Settlement cost element in theIO mastr data to make it both 70000025? Thanks for your help.

Dear Gracey

This time you have worked upon something...

kindly go through the link properly i have mentioned you will find the solution.

1. are you getting this error for a particular internal order

2. GL 10018085 needs to be assigned to the source in SPRO in create allocation structure

3. you can tick by cost element in the config.

Hope your issue gets resolved.

The error says Complete Allocation Structure A1, I do not know where else to change the missing field. All the required fields are already in the A1 allocation structure. Where to add the cost element and where to find the cost element t add?

I checked the allocation structure in OKOA. It seems that all the requirements are correct. There is an Assignment (in green light) referring to the IO used. Source is assigned in same assigment (070) and Co Area. From cost el To cost elem. is grayed out. But Cost Elem Group is using the correct Cost Elem. Group. Thus, Assessment Cost Element is blank. Settlement cost elements: Receiver cat is using G/L, By cost element box is unticked, and Settlement Cost Element is using IO-Settlement Account.

The parameters are accurate. Do not know where the problem was.

Hi

When you run the settlement, the system gives error with respect to which cost element is missing from allocation structure. you can include this cost element in the allocation structure if it suits your requirement else you need to reverse the transaction posted on that cost element which is not part of allocation structure.

Hi Ram,

Thank you. However, the allocation structure is already set as A1 (CO allocation structure) and still we have the same error. The other options are A2 (No split) and A3 (With other CE's added). Do I still need to change the current set-up A1?

Appreciate your soonest response.
