If I have a DSO which has been loading for the last year with delta.

and I want to reinitialize now. I do the following.

1 ) Lock Users

2 ) Clear Deltas

3) Fill setuptables in case of missing data

4) Delete the init from scheduler.

5) Do I do a repair full request at this point ? because we cannot have multiple inits going into the DSO, and then set the delta ? or can I do a early delta at this point if the extractor supports it so we don't have too much of "downtime" and then open the system and continue with deltas?

Dear DA,

no need to clear delta,s , just do it full repair request, this will solve your problem.

and why do you want to reinit? new fields added? delta corrupt? missing data?

normally if the delta is running ok, you can just run a repair in many cases...

incase of delta corrupt or missing data can we do a repair full request, without locking users. I know if it's new fields we need downtime.
