Hello,
I have patched SAP XI in STACK 11 according to the
documentation "Support Package Stack Guide - SAP NetWeaver 04 SP Stack
11.pdf" and now the RFC adapter doesnt work anymore. Before patching
the RFC adapterwas working very well and now i can see this error in
the "Adapter Monitor" :
Canal récepteur "CALL_BAPI_VIA_FRC" pour le partenaire "", le
service "SAP_R3".
Erreur can not instantiate RfcPool provoquée par :
com.sap.aii.af.rfc.RfcAdapterException: error initializing
RfcClientPool:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.repository.RfcRepositoryException:
can not connect to destination system due to:
com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name or
password is incorrect. Please re-enter
I don't understand !
Regards,
Vincent.
Hi,
Even we faced the same problem with RFC Adapter after SP11. We have just reconfigured the RFC adapter and it started working.
Strange!!

Hi Vincent,
I had exactly the same error in our internal XI 3.0 SP11 system. In my case, copying the RFC communication channel to a new one, re-entering the password in upper cases in both the communication channel in XI and in the RFC communication user in the backend system solved the problem.
Best,
Joë

Hi Roos,
great hint. We have similar problem and after entering
the password in upper letter our RFC-Connection work
fine.
Our problem was like following
Senderkanal 'MigratedSenderChannel_RFC_10' für Partner '', Service 'MC1_001'
Fehler can not instantiate RfcPool verursacht durch:
com.sap.aii.af.rfc.RfcAdapterException: error initializing RfcServerPool:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.repository.RfcRepositoryException: can not connect to destination system due to: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name oder Kennwort ist nicht korrekt (Bitte Anmeldung wiederholen)
After applying sp11 some of our RFC-Connection does not
work. We don't have change anything. Some of other connection work fine. It was very strang for us.
Thanks,
Ly-Na Phu
Hi Vincent,
maybe SAP Note 810621 could help you.
Best regards,
Nicolas

Hi
Have you created any message or SAP has addressed this issue? Since we are planning to apply stack 11.
Thanks
Mohan

Hi Vincent,
Try re-entering the logon parameters for the RFC adapter (sender or receiver communication channel).
