Texts for Datasource Fields of ROOSFIELD

Hello,

in the ROOSFIELD there are the fields of a datasource, We need the texts for the fields. Does anyboddy know where the texts are stored? There is no ROOSFIELDT table.

In table RSOSFIELDMAP U will find everything for each and every datasource

Hello, I found the info in DD04T. The otehr table seems to contain only the info in BW, not in ERP, perhaps if the datasource is replicated in BW.

Hi Irmgard,

DD04T could be your friend, but only if the FIELDNAME is exactly the same as the DOMAIN it points to.

A better object would be the view DD03VT on the ERP side.

Example:

Datasource: 0MAT_PLANT_ATTR

Has Extract Structure: BIW_MARC_S

with this structure name you find all the Texts of the fields of this datasource using view DD03VT.

The relation between Datasource and its extract structure is defined in table ROOSOURCE

So you could go on a build your own view on top of these two views (or their underlying tables).
