GRC AC 10 E-mail notification problems

Hi, Experts

I have configured notification for access request and role approval MSMP workflows. I use the following notification events: END_OF_REQUEST, REJECTED, APPROVED, NEW_WORK_ITEM. Notification mail for event NEW_WORK_ITEM work fine. But mail notification for others events don't work. Also, i don't recieve e-mail with password for new user created with access request.

Can you help me? What may be reasons of this problems?

Hi,

Check whether emails are getting triggered in SOST.

Also chk email entry for all recipients and WF_Batch id

Did you ever get this resolved?  I'm running into the same problem.  Only getting emails when a request is submitted and closed.

Bob:

Just to make sure, you have configured the "Notification Settings" in each stage with the events where you want emails to be sent?

Since you are getting the Submission and Close emails (which are configured on Process Global Settings), I can determine that you have set up the SAPConnect and it is working properly.

Also, the other requirements are:  The ID set in config on parameter 1113, must have email address and communication method set on the SU01 record, as well as all dialog users in GRC must have an email address maintained and the communication set.

Try to run the post-installation step "Perform Automatic Workflow Customizing" via IMG.

Hi Alexandr,

As you mentioned it seems your MSMP setting was perfect and it should work for all.

But please check the workflow parameter id: 1113 hopefully here you have maintained the correct User id (System type) and this user should exists in GRC box with correct mail id.

If this is missing please correct this and test once again.

Please check if wfbatch user has emailid maintained.

Hi,

Which agents are you using for the events that are not working ?

The problem canot be system settings as the notification is working for one of the event so it has to be some configuration problem .

Notification for new work items began work after I add task numbers in the filter settings for business scenario GRCNOTIFICATION in tcode Maintain Workflow Notification. Now, I remove MSMP notification settings for event NEW_WORK_ITEM, but I am still recieving this notification mails. I think this mails is SAP standard workflow notification mail, but not MSMP Workflow notification mail. So event NEW_WORK_ITEM also doesn't work.

I have the following MSMP settings:

I have configured reminder job (report GRFNMW_BATCH_EMAIL_REMINDER) and standard workflow notification job (report SWN_SELSEN). But e-mail notification doesn't work in case of event END_OF_REQUEST, REJECTED, APPROVED, NEW_WORK_ITEM/

What additional background jobs must I configure?

You'll definitely need to have SAP Connect configured to send the emails but I don't know of any other specific backgound jobs in 10.0 for emails.

Have you got the templates maintained in SE61 in the correct Mesage classes and got the notification rules assigned in the stages?

SAP Connect configured properly, because I can send mail from sap system and also I recieve e-mail notification when get new work item.

I use the standard templates. All Docu. Objects exists in transaction SE61. I didn't change any standard settings for message classes.

What other settings should I check?
