Hi,
While executing a process chain; the job was terminated at a DTP. The DTP monitor was not displaying any job log.
I executed the DTP manually through the scheduler(RSA1). Though the extraction step was successful the DTP was failing with the exception RS_EXCEPTION000 at the transformation step. Due to an error in the substep; data packet processing was being terminated.
We have just upgraded to SAP BW7.3 SP 03. The issue has occured in our post upgrade system checkout.
Regards,
Vasavi
With changing DTP' s package size, it works for me.
I changed 50.000 to 100.000

Same issue occurred today. This issue has been resolved by deleting the existing error request and repeated the PC.

It happened to me because of a transport of the transformation involved in the error. Just reactivate the trasformation and you won't have the error anymore.

I have seen this error, but the problem has been resolved by unchecking semantic grouping on the DTP settings.

Hey, Marcs answer is resolving the problem.
I just created an end routine, then delete the endroutine. After, I activated the transformation.
Thank you.

Hi Vasavi,
For your information, we have the same problem after our upgrade to BW 7.3.
After many search we have found the problem and I hope it will be the same case for you.
The error occurs in our case with a transformation containing one end routine where we made and update of one InfoObject for the target ODS.
In the release 7.0 we needed to setup one update rule as CONSTANT zero for this IO.
After upgrade, you see that the update rule is change to NO_UPDATE, but this new update rule seems to be inconsistent because you see always the icon CONSTANT on the left of your IO in the transformation.
To correct this issue, change the update rule to Formula (whitout any formula), click on Transfer Values. Click again on your IO and reset the update rule to NO_UPDATE and click on Transfer Values. You will see that the Icon on the left of your IO will be "X".
Activate your transformation and DTP and execute your DTP.
Good luck.

Sometimes the system will load 2 somtimes 3 packages.
Any other ideas?

Hi,
Could you please check the following notes for you issue.
Note 1620462: Existing data targets may be initialized during a selective update. This is incorrect. As a result, they may receive incorrect data.
Note 1629258: During the parallel extraction of data from the change log of a data transfer process (DTP), too little data may be transferred; also see Note 1629890, which provides a check report.
Note 1636053 - Upgrade to SAP NetWeaver 7.30: BW server: Useful note

Siva
