Hi Gurus,
I am upgrading from ECC 6.0 to EHP5 in the checks phase i got below error please advise on this..
Error Details:
ERROR: RFC of "subst_get_open_sapobj_tas_reps" failed.
key : RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
message : The system is configured incorrectly.

Hi Venkat,
Make sure that the environment variable "auth_shadow_upgrade" is not set in the environment.(No such environment variable should exist, neither in system nor in user environment).
If it is set, delete it and reload the environment using the command "ntenv2reg" and restart the shadow instance.
Then repeat the phase in EHP5 upgrade.

Please maintain the same password for DDIC user in both original and shadow system.

Sorry for late reply....
Yogesh: am maintaining same password for ddic and RFC connection is connecting successfully and while reading data from e071 and e071k* tables it is giving error and dump at SAP level(please see above post)
Now system is having 16gb virtual memory and db is oracle 10.2.0.2 os is windows 2003 sp1
Now am in checks phase:

I have successfully increased virtual memory to 24 gb now and after that i had run ehpi again but same error as below please help me to solve it.

is it in preprocessing step .. or before...
Check you have atleat 20 GB swap space .

Please, increase the value of the parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time. This should allow you to proceed.

Hi,
Please check the RFC in question. There seems to be timeout while trying to read the RFC.
Also check logs in 'REPACHK.LOG' file and post errors.
