I going through a custom development session that I got at the Las Vegas TechEd event.

One step involves creating the Page Builder application itself from within the Role Mainenance transaction.

Specifically, the instructions state that one should add a Page Builder app by clicking insert node on the

menu tab.

When I do this, I am able only to add a standard Web Dynpro application, not an application of type

Page Builder. I am running Netweaver 7.02.

Why don't I see an option to create an application of type Page Builder?

I installed NW 7.0, Ehp2 version. I displayed the component WDR_CHIP_PAGE WebDynpro to test and create pages builder but when I run the tests of wdr_chip_page located under the Web Dynpro application tab, the browser starts but nothing appears

my question is how configuration page builder?

Because this feature, like the TechEd session itself, is based upon NetWeaver 7.03; not NetWeaver 7.02. You would not have this feature in NetWeaver 7.02. You have to add the page builder application and its configuration string as an application parameters. Its a little more cumbersome in 7.02 but possible. This is why we added the new feature to 7.03 in PFCG to basic hide the configuration parameters and automate opening the page builder in configuration mode.

This is why we added the new feature to 7.03

are you referring to enhancement pack 3 for net-weaver 7? or 7.3?

We just installed trail version 7.3 and it doesn't even have the application configuration mapping for PFCG web dynpro.

I'm referring to NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 3 - which is actually SAP_BASIS 7.31. 7.30 for the most part on the ABAP side is pretty much the same technical functionality as 7.02 (7.0 Enhancement Package 2).
