How to change AS ABAP User Password in IdM?

Hi experts,

in our solution landscape we have several ABAP Systems with a huge number of clients. If I change a user password in IdM, the change occurs just in IdM and UME. But the new password isn't set on our integrated AS ABAP Server.

Is it possible to set the same password on AS ABAP? Is there any way to change the password addicted to a client?

Thanks and best regards,

Yes this is possible. The Provisioning framework has a template for setting the both productive and non-productive passwords in ABAP systems. You will need to define a repository for each ABAP system you wish to connect to and call the job for each one.

      Hi Matt,

snote 1575445 describes how to set a productive password. For your information: In the task ChangePasswordOfABAPUser you have to set in pass type "ToSAP" the attribute ProductivePwd = X.

But now the message "Password for user <username> changed, but not set as productive" occurs ... It's a bit unexactly. Is it neccessary to configure SNC? It's just for a test. I've also checked snote 1287410.

      Best regards,
