Journal Entry Error

Dear Friends,

I am getting the error while creating the journal wizard I have got the error due to that I am not able to perform the Journal Entry in Consolidation.

The error is coming while performing the first step it does not allow me to select the dimensions and it gives an error "The Dimensions must be in details" I just follow what ever system is given the options, after completing the task.

I have open the excel and click on Enter Journals it gives, after entering all the dimensions it doent save the journal and through the error "Journals table of /1CPMB/MCLGRJRDT TRILDEV1 CONSOLIDATION; does not exist"

Can anyone please reply me for above errors.

You need to go to BPC web - modify the application parameter and add a parameter for:

ALLOW_CHANGE_STRUCTURE and equal to Yes

This will allow you to change the defaults for journal wizard

Put ALLOW_CHANGE_STRUCTURE = 'Y'. Don't put yes , it will create problems.

Can you please guide the navigation were to find this parameters.

Hi,

In Web this parameter(Key ID) you can find at Administration >> Set Application Parameters

Thanks its done now.

Its working fine me to allow to change the entry.
