CATS Transfer Short text to HR

Hello all,

I have created a record for attendance in CATS with a short text. The record was approved (CATS_APPR_LITE) and was transferred to HR (CAT6/CATA - with HR option).

The record for attendance can be seen in IT2002 for the employee..however the short text for the same entered in CAT2 is missing.

Is there an additional program to transfer Short texts entered in Timesheet to the target component HR?

If not, am i missing something while transferring data to HR?

Dear Salvi,

In cats configuration you will assign the Attn.type/Absence type ...and this will be fetched from the absence and attendance types V_t554S text only.

When ever you run the transaction CATA it will transfer to respective modules with the same.

Thankyou for your response.

The Short text i mentioned is not the text of the attendance / absence code. It is the additional message one may want to associate with the record being entered.

It can be seen in a pop-up window in CATS whenever the hours field of such a record is double-clicked.

When i try to transfer such a record with an additional short text assigned to it in CATS to HR (CAT6/CATA), the short text does not transfer.

Could you help me find a way to transfer such short texts to respective HR infotypes (IT2001 / IT2002)
