Stck is zero but amount is shoing in the MC.1

Hi,

We have some configured material when I check in MC.1 it is shwoing some amount for that material but the stock is zero in stock column what can be the problem I check in MB5B there is not entry is there in MB5B.

Hi,

MC.1 report brings data from Info Structure from S039 i.e. Inventory Controlling. Check this Info Structure in MC23 for Application "03". Whereas Report MB5B brings stock details as per the Material Documents posted so definitely there will be some mismatch between these reports. Other thing is MC.1 is Period wise ananlysis report and Mb5b Selection Date. there will be difference . Thanking you

As it is taking stock structure from table S032 i check for the material for which we are facing the problem for that material in

MBWBEST : qty the qty is zero but in field

WBWBEST : The amount is present,

how to make the amount as ZERO for the two material is there any method by executing some report etc. or we have to do this by SE16N, as there si no qty present we want to make amount zero.

Hi ,

The problem for this is Quantities might have been issued before GRN date. In this case , you will have balance for the material with no quantities. Now , if material is maintained in Moving Avg Price 'V'. You upload only one quantity by using the movement type '561' on today's date nd reverse it by 562 movement type on the same date. The value of the stock would be nill.

Hi,

Presently in the material master the price is zero so even if I done scraping with 551 movement or Initial uploading with 561 movement the amount potsing is zero and if I chnge the amount of MAP with MR21 it is adding the amount in the total inventory

in MC.1 the amount is : 550000 qty zero MAP is also zero in material master

When i upload withwith 561 the qty is 1 amount is 550000 in MC1 but in material master accounting view it is zero

when i change price with MR21 of MAP as 550000 then in MC.1 it becomes 1100000 and in material master it is 550000

only.

Is there any other solution, when I execute MC.1 by selecting the valuation as standard then only it is showing the maount for some material for which the stock is zero and for same MC.1 if I select the valuation as current price then it is not showing the amount for those materials.

Hi,

Please check report (S_PL0_86000030 - G/L Account - Balances) and if the qty is not reflected in MC.1,then you will find the reason for the same from report S_P00_07000139.

Hi,

This does not happen in general. We encountered this in case of std priced materials and having cost run.

As you have mentioned it might be correct since with the current price there is no difference and with std price somewhere values are stored in the database table. these are not getting cleared off due to some reason. that is why SAP has created infostructures which we can rebuild and get these errors corrected.

Thanks for your reply, I want to know what is exact different when we execute the MC.1 with valuation as standard price and valuation with current price which price it consider is it material master accounting view or from some other, also for our finish material we are using only one valuation class as 3000 for thsi in OBYC BSX we have one GL account 300003, but whne I check the balance for this 300003 in FS10N for the present fiscal year the amount balance amount of FS10N and MC.1 is not matching from the inventory point of view which one is correct.
