MRP and PIR

We are in discrete manufacturing scenario with make to stock u201C10u201D. We are entering the PIR through MD61 and taking the MRP on daily basis. My client wants that system should not consider the old PIR during MRP run. For example, I am taking MRP run today at plant MD01/MD02, then system should consider the PIR for today and future only, no past requirements. How to map this?

IN MD61 If you re Using Strategy 10 have u checked the User Parameters I mean to say Reqmts type for indep.reqmts LSF Make-to-stock production please enter user parameters LSF and Check the Availability in MRP is it 01 or 02 and while Running MRP MD02 consider Planning mode 3 and please Check OPU3 in that Adjust Dates keep 1 and save.

Not workimg dear. Id there any way taht system will convert the version actvie (MD61) into not active automatically.

You can check by defining reorganisation interval in T code OMP8 in which you define the no of days for which you want to reorganise the PIRs the try with MD74, MD75, and MD76 as suggested by Mr Vivek.

Have you tried re-organizing PIR's (MD74 / MD75 or MD76) ?

If not any specific reason as to why you do not want to do the same? Do a test in your sandbox by scheduling those jobs on daily basis with key date as system date & check.
