Delivery DOCUMENT selection in Sales

Hi,

I have Basic Doubt/ clarificcation in Delivery document selection.

In Sales Document ( for eg: OR) the Delivery document mapped to LF . But in Copy control (VTLF) if we map OR to CBLF, then which delivery document system will select when the Order convert to delivery.

could you please clarify . apologise if this basic question.

Dear mail_to_karthik... ,

Regardless of copy controls to your sales document to delivery document system will only consider the delivery document what ever you have assigned delivery document type(LF) in vov8.

You have to maintain the copy controls in VTLA for the delivery document LF is assigned to OR .

Then only your requirement will be satisfied

Hi,

If the the standard copy control setting between OR and LF is untouched in your system, then document type LF will be triggered in your case. Or assign delivery document type CBLF to OR then CBLF will be triggered for the delivery.

thanks For the Input, we have both copy control in our system (i.e... OR to LF and OR to CBLF ). and in VOV8 the delivery doc is mapped as LF. in this case system will system pick LF as default? and can we change it manually when we process delivery doc?

whether my understaing is correct? if so then VOV8 is default one rite?

What ever the delivery type that you assign to your sales order type in vov 8 that will be picked up for delivery by default and you can not change it manually.

Yes what is the VOV8 system will pick as a default and make sure that that end user don't forget to enter the Delivery Type manually if he/she wants CBLF

if there is any Specific Reason for Created 2 Delivery Type ?
