Hello,
Over the weekend we moved our CLM server from the existing service provider to the data center of a new vendor.
Post migration, email notifications are not working.
SMTP configurations are done, when we try procesing some messages there is not queued messages and the status shows as processed messages.
But SMTP messaging team doesn't receive any messages from CLM application server.
Kindly provide pointers in resolving the above issue.
Rgds,
Madhan

Hi,
the first place to look at is the server logs and see if there are any "ERROR" in the log signifying what is going wrong..
if that doesn't offer a clue, a couple of things you can look at:
1. Setup>System Information>daemons: Check if email enabled checkbox is enabled.
2. relook at the setup> queued message and processed messages and check if there is any difference here
2. if mail is not sent before 48 hours after repeated attempts, an error log message is made and the message is moved to the processed queue. My guess would be the migration took longer than the default time (property: messaging.maxretrytimehours) 48 hours & hence the mails are marked as sent/processed. if that had been the case new email should go...
good luck..

Hello Madhankumar BB,
Did you resolve the issue??
I am asking because i have a similar problem.
When i set the property mailhost without username and password i get the error:
javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException
But when i add the properties username and password i get the error
javax.mail.MessagingException: Unknown SMTP host:
Any idea on what it could be?
thank you
Kind regards.
