Are you collecting the queries manually into the transport request?

Hi Shweta,

Generally for any query changes we create a transport request first and then record the changes in that trasport request. This is created in Transport Connection tab of RSA1 screen. There you need to provide the transport request number for BEx query changes and then save it. Afterwards whatever changes are done in the query gets recorded in that TR and finally we transport the TR.

Check if any transport request is already created for the Query changes in your system. If its there then just transport that request.

Hi Navesh,

So if I understand you right , you're saying here's what I should do :

1. Create a transport and attach the query to it

2. Delete the query and this change will automatically be saved to the transport

3. Then move the transport from Dev to Prod

Is this what you suggest I do ?

Sorry if I'm missing something

Shweta

Hi,

Is that query exists in production that you a deleted in DEV?

If yes, then when you deleted that query, that deleted object will be stored in the common bex request in the system. When you transport that request your query will automatically gets deleted in production.

Otherwise you can just delete the reports in production by using

RSZDELETE tcode. This is common.

Thanks

Hi Shweta,

Yes your understanding is right. Steps mentioned are correct.

But you can also do it other way round that is you can just delete the query and it will prompt for the transport request. Just save the query in the TR request.

Or you can save the query by creating one TR request and then delete the query. So whatever chanes will get recorded in the TR request.

Thanks and regards
