MASSD transaction - Wrongly updating values to all products

Hello All,

I was using MASSD transaction to update some selected products and somehow it applied changes to all other products , which were not in selection list.

I am not sure how did it happen. Does any one of you have this issue earlier ?

Is this a bug in MASSD code ?

I think this issue has been corrected in SCM 5.0.

Since we are using SCM 4.0 , issue happened.

Hi,

I have found this issue. What I might have done is:

I executed mass changes with selected products and MASSD has only changed the selected products only.

Then without exiting, I deleted old selections to put new selected products on screen.

And then I pressed 'ENTER' button. WHICH TRIGGERS JOB IN BACKGROUND FOR ALL PRODUCTS.

This is SAP issue, as when I put blank in selections, I should get pop up "Please enter some values".

INSTEAD , SAP is considering it as " * " and executing changes for all products.

Now I am searching any SAP note, to correct this error.

Please let me know if anyone has any idea on this and BEWARE while using MASSD.

Could you please elaborate your issue?

Are you seeing the materials as per your selection criteria after executing the selection in MASSD?

and which particular field, you are trying to update with what value?
