UWL iView exception error

Hi, I am getting below error while opening UWL iView...

Portal runtime error

An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.

See log file for details about this exception

com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.PortalRuntimeException: Failed to load Universal Worklist! Server side include of the application integrator failed!



at com.sapportals.portal.prt.component.AbstractPortalComponent.serviceDeprecated(

at com.sapportals.portal.prt.component.AbstractPortalComponent.service(




Please do advice how to fix..and appreciate your quick reply.

    As per your Description and logs, I see 2 causes for your issue.

    The first one is is regarding a know issue, that the exception bellow

    suggest: retrieving JCO.Function object while reading R3 system$Exception: (104)

    RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: User UWL_SERVICE has no RFC authorization for

    function group RFC1.#

    *There is a know issue, that can be the root cause of this exception

    that have been solved on the last patch of the component UWLJWF. note


    Othe issue that I can supose as per your logs is A a missing

    permission to the Everyone group for the iview whose PCD is the




    Its necessary to check the permissons of this iview, to make sure the

    groups everyone has at least read permission. After setting this

    permission, the issue should be resolved.

      can you solve the problem?

      I have a similar problem only with one user, when the user access the UWL get

      the following error:

      Runtime error in the portal

      Exception in processing request, send the ID of exception to your portal ADMINISTRATION

      The other users does not have problems accessing the mailbox.

      The user is assigned the role of the mailbox correctly.

      I removed all personalizations with the affected user and the error continues to occur

      Please, can you give me any idea to solve the problem?
